Privacy Policy

This policy covers packsaddlesoftware.com and the apps we publish, including StreakLingo (a language learning game, on Google Play, on the web and as a TikTok Mini) and Dead Air (on the web, on Google Play and as a TikTok Mini). Product-specific services such as Content Guard may have their own terms, which apply alongside this policy.

What StreakLingo stores

• An anonymous account. The first time you open StreakLingo it creates a random ID for you. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number or any password. The ID is kept on your device so the game can find your progress again.
• Your progress. The language you chose, lessons and reviews you completed, your answers, streak, experience points, coins, Daily Word guesses and results, and your settings (such as sound, vibration and high contrast). We keep this on our server so your progress is there when you come back.
• Your time zone. So the game knows what day it is for you and when your Daily Word changes.
• Anonymous usage counts. Events such as a lesson finished or a screen opened, linked to the random ID and never to your name, so we can see what works and fix what does not.
• Problem reports. If you use Report a problem, we store the text you write and which lesson it was about.
• Friends and sharing. If you start a Duo streak or share a Daily Word result, we store the invite code and the result grid (colored squares only, never the letters).
• AI chat (optional). When this feature is available and you use it, the messages you type are sent to Anthropic to write the reply. Please do not type personal information into it.
• Reminders on Android. If you allow notifications, the daily lesson reminder is scheduled on your phone. It does not use a server or send anything about you anywhere. You can turn it off in your phone's notification settings.
• On TikTok. The StreakLingo Mini signs you in with TikTok's login. TikTok gives our server an app specific ID for your account (not your name, username, email or phone number), which we use in place of the random ID above. Payments and ads inside TikTok are handled by TikTok.
• No ads and no purchases on Android at launch. StreakLingo does not use your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or advertising ID.

Our servers are hosted on Railway and the website is served through Cloudflare. Both process technical data (such as IP address and time of request) on our behalf to run and secure the service.

Delete your data. Email [email protected] from the address you want us to reply to and say you want your StreakLingo data deleted. Tell us the language you played and roughly when you started, and we will find and delete the progress linked to your device. Uninstalling the app removes what is stored on your phone.

What Dead Air stores

• Your choices, on your device only. The story remembers the choices you make (for example which clues you found and who you named) so later episodes can react to them. This is saved in your browser or app storage on your device. It is not sent to us, and you can clear it at any time by clearing the app's or site's data.
• No account. Dead Air does not ask you to sign up or give us your name, email or contact details.
• On TikTok. The Dead Air Mini signs you in silently with TikTok's login. TikTok gives our server an app-specific ID for your account (not your name, username, email or phone number). We use it only to keep the app working for you, for example to remember unlocked episodes, and we store it only in a one-way scrambled form. Videos in the Mini are streamed by TikTok's video service (BytePlus).
• No precise location, contacts, camera or microphone. We don't request them.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs when your device requests a page or video (such as IP address, browser type and time of the request). We use these only to run, secure and troubleshoot the service. Our domain is served through Cloudflare, and our servers are hosted on Railway; both process this technical data on our behalf.

Purchases and ads

Viewing counts. Dead Air counts, anonymously, how many browsers start and finish each episode and reach the unlock screen. Your browser remembers which of these it has already reported so it's counted once. We don't store your IP address or any identifier with these counts.

Paid episodes. On our website, purchases are sold through Link, Stripe's checkout service. Stripe and Link collect your card details, email address and billing location under Stripe's privacy policy; we never receive your card number. We keep a record of each purchase (what was bought, when, the amount and the email Stripe gives us) and a random key that remembers your unlocked episodes in your browser. In TikTok, Google Play or the App Store, payments are handled by that platform, and any ads by that platform's ad service.

Children

StreakLingo and Dead Air are intended for a general audience aged 13 and up. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can delete everything Dead Air stores by clearing the site data in your browser or the app data on your phone, or by uninstalling the app.
